Ben Carson is an American Neurosurgeon who was born on 18 September 1951.
Ben Carson had trouble early on his life, falling behind in school and eventually landing at the bottom of his class. Good parenting by his single mother turned Carson’s life around when she began focusing on him and his studies.

At the age of 33, he became the hospital's professor and director of Pediatric Neurosurgery.
In 2002 Carson was diagnosed with prostate cancer, but fortunately the cancer was caught in time.
